if you go to your local GW sometimes they run a battle companies week, mine did a few months ago.

i got a hobbit battle company in my first battle i played 1 of the guys at my local gamesworkshop he had a veteran easterling force. i must of been really lucky that day because i flogged him it currently has 5 archers on ponies 4 sherrifs and 4 militia 5 of my hobbuts are now heros (i've been playing for 6 months now with them! :lol : )

I think after the holiday's, I'm going to suggest battle companies for myself and son to start with. I'll probably do Rohan or Gondor. I can see him with Uruk-Hai.

You know, i've made some minor changes within the existing BC and i still haven't test any, but i've received positive feedback on it.

Warning: I haven't make up any stats for the non-released models. If you want to use the battle companies i'm suggesting, you may have to solve the issue of not having the some stats (or making it yourself or using other type of warrior or similar warriors from that BC).
