I agree with you, of course. Your point of view is the same of mine, that is the rule is so written to simulate simoultaneously actions using a more simple sequential mechanic. Indeed, I wouldn't have posted this question if one of mine Rider haven't fight only with an enemy it didn't charge. I mean: if a Rider fight against one infantry model which it has charged and another one infantry model who has subsequently charged my Rider, no doubt my Rider get charge bonuses; but in this case my Rider fight only against infantry model who has charged my Rider. I still think my Rider get bonuses because it moved and so it has momentum, that in my mind is the reason to give it charge bonuses.
