Inspiration for first conversion:


As You can see, I need to sculpt torso just like at the photo, rest is depend on my own vision.

I decided to use this Mordor Orc:


Next, I delete all redundant elements:


Attaching legs on pins


Green Stuff working:


Axe:


Then I make down of the tunic:


Front armour:


Rest of the tunic and first part of arms:


Hair, rest of the arms and gloves:


The final result:

I'`m not excellent sculptor, so I can't tell You why it is connected
I think, we've got good sculptors, becouse in the past, when we had less money then now (becouse we were younger, for example), and wanted some more expensive models, much more profitable option was sculpt them, then buy Or at least, I done like this xD
Now, main reason of my sculptor hooby is that, I don't like the same poses of a lot of miniatures, I want to have all difference poses in my army

I love that he has a Rohan spear. Are you planning on doing battle companies with the converted minis?

Probably not, I dont't have any friends to play this game, nearest playeres are 70-100 km from my city.

I decided to use Haradrim archer for my cinversion. I cuted arms, head and delated quiver nad breast armour. Then I reduced thickness of thunic. Next I did front part of clothes:


I want to makie something like that:

There are many elements that we can attach to, especially at the first model I am dissatisfied, but a few things were done there experimentally

Very well done, wish I could sculpt. Will you be sculpting a bow for the top figure or just add one from spare parts?
