Not willing to pay for third party linking, what are some good alternatives to photobucket.com?

I've used Dropbox for a long time. They've recently changed things so you can't share in the same way but I think it does still work.

If you choose to share an image and then select create link you can copy a link to the image. To make show up though you need to add &raw=1 to the end of the link you paste between .

Thanks, will move my response to the image hosting sites under photography. Photobucket really shot themselves in the foot by asking $400 a year to do third party links.

Try Imgur. It's dead simple.

I use the dakka dakka wargaming forum to upload my images into an ongoing WIP thread and can then just copy images into wherever I need them. It's free and you can upload pretty big image file sizes

I use Flickr, really simple and you get 1000GB of space for free!
