Is there anyone here that could give me some tips about painting Uruk-Hai? Or even better: Does anyone know a great tutorial with pictures somewere?

I'm using citadel paints and tried the following method, but didn't like the result. What I did was:

- Priming black.
- Flesh: Dark Red base followed by some Nuln Oil.
- Armor: A pretty dark silver base followed by some Nuln Oil.
- Leather: Dark Brown with Nuln Oil.

Well.. that's about it basically.
I just don't know how to make their armor look like it's metal without making it too shiny.

I recommend doombull brown, aka dark flesh for their skin tone.

I remember loosely a tutorial for armor. It involves diluting black paint with something, I think metal color, and slowly changing the ratio to make their armor look like black metal.

Someone on this sight posted it a while ago, maybe someone can bring it back up.

Hmm, I usually don't like her video's, but I have to say the way she paints the uruks is pretty good for tabletop standard. I think I found 'my way' of making the armor. I'm gonna do it the girl painting way! ;-)
Thanks for the reminder of her video's!
