So I never painted before and have zero paints.

Now I would like to start with collecting my own Durin's Folk army and painting them.

What would be wise to start with colour/paint wise to buy? This also counts for brushes etc.

I really like how these look https://marcraleyminiatures.blogspot.nl/2014/11/here-is-blast-from-past.html?showComment=1464855170357#c8172009609107617392

Thanks!

Go on facebook and look for «Of Orks and Men» (with a «k», not a «c»). Search their pictures, they used a beautiful bluish/turquoise scheme on the clothing. I think it's really awesome! I recently bought a load of dwarfs models from GW, these colors are probably going to be my choice! It may be a little harder to paint than the color scheme you posted, so it's really up to you! I'm eager to see your work! I also saw reddish brown schemes, which are also nice looking! :p
