Is there something wrong with the home page?

hey guys, I can go directly to the forums, but when I go to the home page, it gives me an error page.

I know some other members who cannot get to the website at all.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I guess this post is aimed for the admins as well.

I am having the same problem. I cant even access the website if i'm using my phone.

Same here, no acces on mobile devices, and on my desktop, there a list of errors on the main page right on top of the header, and the whole page has a larger font than usual.

Funny...I have the exact opposite problem. I can go to the sight on my phone, but I can't on my laptop. I can't even go directly to the forums. Any time I try to access the site on my laptop, I get some error message, like "500 error..." or what not. But on my phone I'm perfectly fine...

Hi all, I am going to be shutting the site down at some point today (Sat 5th Sept) while I attempt to fix the issue.

I don't actually know what is wrong, but I'm starting off by bringing the forum software up to date. Hopefully that will resolve it, but if not it's still something that needed doing anyway so it's not wasted effort.

I get the following messages when I first go to the site.

I've upgraded the forum software to the latest greatest version, but it still hasn't fixed the underlying problem. There are a few more things I can try though, but in the meantime I've turned off the home page (it seems to be the root cause of the problems).

Fixing this is taking a while and, well, I don't have huge amounts of time to spend on it (since I work full time and have a family), but I will get there and we will be back to full speed as soon as possible.

Still working on it.

I'm installing a fresh version of the forum software on a test site and seeing if it works ok on iPads and smartphones. If so, then that tells me we have something corrupted on our installation. If not, then the basic forum software itself is at fault.

EDIT: Ok, I have installed a basic forum on this server using the same version of the software that we have here, but clean and unedited. It works on my iPad.

So that means it's an issue with one of the modifications we've made. I will now go and turn off the mods one at a time to see which (if any) it is that's causing the problem.

For some reason I have been completely unaffected by the issue (I am using a Mac with an outdated Firefox browser).

Is there something wrong with the home page?
