Having lost the Battle of Westemnet last turn, Saruman needed to delay the ents so he could assault Helms Deep once again, this time once and for all. Having won the iniative for the campaign turn, the Evil side sent two companies of Uruks to force a skirmish using the old SBG rules and then was able to assault Helms Deep using our modified SBG siege rules for War of the Ring.



Will Saruman be able to take Helms Deep this time, or will the Good side hold out for eight turns, thus preventing Isengard any chance of winning the campaign?

What happens after this if Saruman captures all of Rohan?

Then there will be no dawn for men! Isengard must hold Helms Deep and Edoras by the end of campaign turn 8 in order to win the campaign.
