I absolutly love Rohan Merry and Eowyn. The detailing on these paint jobs is just superb. I also think the display stands are an oustanding idea. Great way to show off a centerpiece model like these two. I may just have to borrow the idea and try doing one myself!

I finished 4 Warriors of Rohan:

With these 4 I used one extra highlight on the cloak:

I like what you have done with these.
I would give the cloaks a little extra. Get a thin mid tone and apply it over the raised areas to blend in. Then create a thinned highlight and re apply over the top. This may take a few coats but you will start to see a smooth blend appear.
Keep up the great work mate.

Your Rohan are amongst the best I've seen. Beautiful and vivid. Some of my favourite models.
Would love to see you paint an entire army of them!

Thanks
If I must paint an entire army of them, it would take years (I'm a slow painter :) )

Some nice strong bold colours which sit well on the miniatures (but you also can't go wrong with advise from Gandlaf the Grey).

Great highlighting. You could maybe add a little weathering around the bottom of the cloaks by drybrushing a little bestial brown very lightly at the very bottom. Not too much just to add a hint of brown to the very edge. Awesome work Werner.
