Simply incredible. The NMM is stunning, particularly the silver scale mail on the bottom of the horse's coat

Great looking mounted figure! The NMM, particualry on the sword, is outstanding.

Time to give the 2nd mini for the challenge some atention. Adding some extra bits to a spare Hama miniature.

The banner and the shield are made with Greenstuff mixed about half-half with Milliput. This way I get the 'rubbery' feel of the GS but can still sand it doesn easily. Its a work in progress, but its not looking too terrible I think.

So much to do, so little time!
... plus Game of Thrones is back... and Daredevil is pretty awesome! Ugh!

Holy Devlan Mud! New Star Wars trailer! BRB

Excellent idea with the shield. I think the angle of the photograph is making the actual banner part look out of proportion. The shape seems good. I think its the angle of the picture which makes the flag part seem a little fat at the side where it reaches the pole,

The angle might exagerate it a bit, but the banner is a big one for sure. The flat bits will have wrinkles in it to help with the movement, and the area near the pole is just glued for now. I'll be detailling it a bit more. I did a spare banner too, but its just as big if not bigger.

It's a learning process I guess.

I think it is just that area near the pole and the angle of the pic. Will be fine once finished. Doesn't look too big.

Is it the photo ?
The banner seems higher than the pole, like there is spare material at the top. If thats the case I'm not sure on it Mig.
I hope it is just the angle of the photo.
I can't fault the concept, great idea.

Liking what you've done with this Mig. Are you planning any freehand on the banner ?

Beautiful work, Miguel. Theoden looks wonderful in the NMM and Hama is shaping up very nicely as well.

Now, I need to get cracking on my entry for this month. I haven't completed one this year!

Looking good! I'm also a fan of the good mix of greenstuff and miliput.

Those colours were just random stuff I had in my pallete. It has panzer green, ocre yellow, bleached bone and chocolate brown I believe. It was just to put some paint in the banner because I started painting the mini and forgot to prime the flag.

Here's how the banner is going, I'm happy with the horse logo, not sold on everything else. :/

The other side is not done yet.

Boy done good Mig. Great idea that I think is nearly there just needs some more work.
I think a few fine lines to define the pattern of the banner will help. Black maybe too much but a dark brown might do it.
I think if you aim for the reds similar to how they are on Hama's undercloth will help bring the banner in harmony with Hama. It just needs a little more TLC as it is still a little mismatched from the great job you have done on Hama and this will make this a stunning piece.
