Am I crazy? Ebay stuff(update CHEAPER boromir)

So is this model really that rare these days or is this just nonsense?

I dont see why that would have so many bids or be that price.....

I have that, and the mounted version with a banner but I never considered it that valuable.

Yeah that is crazy. I have that one and I have the mounted/foot blister un opened, so eventually I will have an extra foot version, but I was planning to make one without banner so for me it is no sale, even at twice that price.

I dont know the foot and mounted blister does not have this model.
It has boromir with a shield. its not interchangeable , only the horse version can choose to have a banner or.. ?

So as far as I know its very rare. What price rarity may cost is of course up to the buyer..

Well I got one off someone long ago. Its painted, but at that price Im going to strip and sell it.....holy ****. I can make a new banner with the finecast one I have.

It is a rare one, from what I see on the odd ebay trawl, but I've not seen one go for that much before.

It is the one model I do really regret not buying when it was around, though. One of the best in the range.

I am aware that they are not the same model (though only banner/shield is the difference on sculpt) I meant that I will have two Boromir, Captains of Minas Tirith on foot (regardless of options) and for a mordor gamer I doubt either will ever see battle (thus the blister is still sealed on one). It is also why I would never part with the extra even at the price tis discussed one is going for.
I still would not call it rare based on price, I would call it highly sought because nobody is selling the ones they have. Rare to see for sale then is a better way to describe it, I doubt production quantities were low for this when it came out since I used to see full pegs of this model.

You said its one of the best in the Range and then you said you regret buying it????

Well guys if you want one Im gonna sell mine for a million dollars in the middle or end of March. Keep an eye out and sell your car before then!

Yeah, sorry, not buying! This is what I get for speed-typing...

In the end, I converted my own from a spare mounted banner, Archer and some GS (took a press-mould of the face), but if I ever see one at a reasonable price I'll snap it up.

Prices like that are the "prefect storm" bids. 2 or more buyers went looking for it at the same time and had to have it. Lucky for the seller, wish it had been me.
