Edit: Actually, I think I've changed my mind. I'm planning to finish painting some new Grim Hammer dwarves I have (I'm pretending he's an Iron Hill dwarf), so I'll enter one of those into the competition instead of the Gundabad Orc Captain.

You should have entered that Thorin in the sculpting challenge! It isnt too late.

Also just a polite reminder to all to please link your pictures across from an external hosting site instead of using the attachment button. Attachments cannot be copied from one thread to another so making the polls at the end becomes a lot more time consuming for the moderators. Many thanks. Nice to see most of you already doing this. As this is a condition of entry can i suggest it be added to the rules at the top of the thread? It will make it easier to find especially for new people.

here is my entry Bolg, I was having issues with choosing Bard mounted or Bolg mounted but went in the end for Bolg hope you guys like him! He also fell of from his base while taking pictures lol, and wasn't in the mood for glueing it back together.

Everyone knows I only finished sculpting him a couple of weeks ago.
this picture is from before I started painting him he's undercoated at that point too.

Here's my finished piece. It's based on one of those smaller Gundabad Attack Trolls from the film, as in the converting challenge. I've taken the pics on my phone rather than camera (as it kept playing up) which thankfully leaves crisper pics but unfortunately makes some of the colours look a little flat. Plus the flash is always on.
