Okie's that's fine. =)

Righty, I'm entering my iron hill dwarven warrior to the competition.

My first image is of the first one I took when I was happy the sculpt actually looked like what I wanted it to.

Image

The second image was from a two/three days after the above level of progression.

Hope these satisfy the rules.

Currently working on this guy now, shall post some more progress pics later.

Smaug???? A very ambitious project indeed! Thinking of going onto some trolls from the third movie when I get the chance too. :D
Good job so far, liking the affect of the scales you've impmented on him.

Well I have finished sculpting Smaug, as per the rules of the challenge I have 4 pics to submit, difficult to choose really, mostly due to the sheer size of the model firstly scale shot my finished entry
Image
Head shot
Image
Underbelly scales, this is very fine detail not visible in most shots, it will be way more apparent when painted up
Image
side shot for scales and legs

Ah! I can't find my proofs. I must have deleted them from my phone to install an app... Can I still enter as no part of my model is from a model pre-December? It is a conversion using Bard with Windlance and Bilbo from Smaug- so I can't have started before the start date!

Yep that is fine River Zora. If using December released minis then that wont be a problem.

Just a simple conversion from me. I'll be changing Thranduils horse into an Elk.

And here it is. Oddly enough my other angles are out of focus so I will need to retake them.

Well, that certainly convinced me: not going to sculpt an entire stag from scratch if some relatively minor changes can give such a result. Excellent!

Looks good ukfreddybear, where did you get the antlers from? Also, did you pin the legs?

The antlers will be available from Shadow and Flame at a cost of £5 a pair. And no I did not pin the legs.

Oh yes, it can be done! Fantastic job. OOOH I want one now. Did you re-purpose the horse head or use a new one?

Really nice, I should have known that before! I love it, it's a totally convincing conversion! I am really happy that I can save the process of sculpting those antlers, that will be my first purchase from shadow and flame! 8)
