A prone model wants to charge a Mordor troll.
Does he stand up first and then take a courage test or does he take the courage test when still lying prone?

Good question. Based off my understanding of being prone, taken from pg 29 of the hobbit digest rules, the mini may stand up and then charge. The movement known as "charging" can not begin until a prone model is standing. Terror says on pg 83 of the same digest, if a model wants to charge, they have to make the courage test before they charge. While prone, a model cant charge. Therefore, the model must stand up to be eligible to charge. After standing up the model is eligible to charge and should they decide to engage the troll, that is when they must make the terror check.

You take the terror test while prone. If passed, you get up and charge. If you fail, you remain prone in the foetal position and wait to get thrown by said troll.

Making the courage check before you stand up insinuates that standing up is a part of the charge. Pg 29 of prone states that prone models cant charge. Therefore, the model must stand up before making the courage check.

I tend to support your view but my opponent/friend Bernardo followed SouthernDunedains idea.
So I still have no clue. Anybody else an opinion?
