Dude....IT WAS AN AUCTION! I was the only watcher and the only bidder. I bid like 20 max plus 6 shipping and I didnt have one other bid at $12......

I cant believe it. I have plenty of Haradrim, Orcs, and bits so Im just going to re sell that and keep the metals.

Thats for sure man. I find a lot of good auctions that either the seller doesnt feel like showing the full extent of his merchandise, or the buyers are too lazy to look if they dont find the perfect auction immediately.

I do a little extra work and it often pays off.
All this auction means to me is a little for me, some extra work, then more money to complete other armies Im working on. Happy times.

A few months ago I picked up Gildor, Halbarad, 3 Rangers of the North and 6 Dunedain for just over £30. I was pretty pleased with myself!

A couple of years ago a seller was selling NIB Mumaks which added up to be AUD$40 each (the aussie dollar was pretty strong against the us dollar). At the time, here in Australia, they were retailing for $110 each. I bought four of them.... :D

Well I just got 12 metal berserkers for £5 but they're described as badly painted but I suppose I can strip them so it's probably my best purchase so far.

Yeah even badly painted, a strip and some elbow grease for that price is awesome. Thats pretty much two berserkers per pound.

I also got 28 uruk-hai with swords and shields for £8 from the same guy so for £13 I think I did good. The uruk-hai are quite well painted too.

Hi I'm new to The One Ring but have been collecting and reading your articles for a maybe 6 years now, anyway I've had a few deals on ebay myself (not quite as shocking as some mentioned but oh well) :
- 36 Uruk Hai pikes/shields
- 24 Uruk Hai scouts
- Saruman and Grima
- Uruk Hai cpt and Banner-bearer
- 6 Warg Riders
- 4 Beserkers
- 6 Crossbowmen (of which two had no crossbow :s)
- The then valid rulebook and ROTK, Pelennor Fields and Siege of Gondor sourcebooks
All the men in a GW case for £41 including shipping

- 60 Goblins almost equally mixed between shield/spear/bow
- Goblin Prowler
- Ghan Buri Ghan
- 6 Riders of Rohan slightly damaged
All for £20 including shipping
