Does anyone even look at this thread anymore? Because I thought my Hasharin was pretty good.
Anyway, small update today. I've been working on easterlings again, I only have about ten left after these ones, so I'm trying to push through them.

I'm pleased with how the captain is turning out, I wasn't really sure how it would look with the yellow, but now I kind of want to paint all my easterlings like it.
C&C welcome

The yellow really works, brilliant colour scheme, might have to copy it

I still follow your thread, but I don't have a lot of time for hobby stuff these days. On the first easterling bowman the red looks a little flat. It could probably use a shade and highlight. The captain is better, he has a shade, but I would say could use a highlight. It's a small detail, but I really like the gloves though. :)

I really like the yellow/red colour scheme. You've got the right yellow. It's very easy to do yellow wrong I think, as it often becomes a sickly colour.

Cool! Good to know that people are still interested. I appreciate the comments on the easterlings, I don't have too many left :D the funny thing about the yellow on the captain is that I didn't even use any yellow paint, it was all brown and white :)
I took another break from easterlings to focus on my entry for this months challenge, a high elf warrior.

I'm very happy with this one, I think it's one, if not the, best miniature I've painted to date.
Comments are welcome and appreciated

Definitely one of your best to date. Nice freehand on the cloak.

I think much of your work is brilliant. I like the blue/tan Harad colors, the blue just pops.
The High Elf is crazy, good thing they live so long so they can hand sew/weave all those intricate patterns on cloaks and banners. :) But it is seriously good.

Don't feel bad when you don't get much thread attention. Keep track of your views count and try not to look at your own thread too much. That is what I try to do, Gandalf the Grey is probably the most consistent on anyone's thread on here, but we all have much to do and little hobby time. Just keep cranking it out, in the end you are doing it for yourself.

Thanks everyone! @Sithious, thanks for the encouragement, I'll try to keep that in mind.
@Sausage Fingers, I'm sure you could if you tried, it's really not as hard as it looks.
@Sid, it's supposed to be a flower, but I guess it does look kind of like a raspberry lol.

Now for a sneak peak of what I'm working on right now.

You definitely pay attention to light source better than I do. Very well done so far.
