Great painting again Kev, are these the first Hobbit range of figures you have painted?

Thanks Paul. Not the first no, I painted a couple of Thorins company and the three trolls some time back.

Latest batch is a couple of existing Aragorn and Boromir models which Flame has sculpted elven cloaks onto. Had fun painting this lot and really like the hooded Aragorn.

Individual and bigger pictures at SHADOW & FLAME

The usual outstanding work here DMS. Exquisite application of transparent paint on that invisible Frodo

Your brilliant painting on that Space Marine or whatever that thing was even made me almost like 40K!

Maybe GW should hire you to paint their minis as you make them look better than their painters can manage.

Wow! You never fail to amaze with your painting skills! I especially love the way you painted invisible Frodo, hehe ;) But honestly, Boromir and Aragorn look great, even though I am not a fan of the chrystals on the shield and the sword. But that's just a personal opinion and no criticism of your work, which is fantastic :)

Again, very excited to receive these! Thanks again for your outstanding work! The rest of the Fellowship will be on its way next week. :D

I'm happy everyone likes the Amon Hen Aragorn conversion. I always thought it was a great base for a Three Hunters proxy/Strider and Dave knocked it out of the park!

Cheers!

All of the models are great on both conversion and painting! But the hooded aragorn is outstanding! he could easily replace the three hunters aragorn version :)

Amazing work

Excellent job! They all look great, I think boromir is my favorite of the four. The colors are spot on. :yay:

Cheers guys.

Been a busy month this month and not had as much painting time as i would have liked. managed to get these two models done. First up the Knight of the pelennor Eomer who has had his head swapped by UKFB to serve as a young Eomer. All colours specified by client.

And second up is the Dwarf Kings Champion which i intended to use in this months painting challenge but can't seem to find my proof picture. Nevermind, next month lol
First time using clear resin to simulate deep water. Found it a little tricky but happy enough with the results. Again client specified colours.

Thanks for looking. Comments most welcome and hopefully won't be as long until my next update.
