See P:47 of the rulebook, not gonna quote it here as thats breaking forum rules etc copyright blah blah

doing a re-read of the big book and need some clarification on a matter

I've seen it played on battlereps on youtube and seen peoples at the club play it as well that they force multi courage checks on one model using a spectre's "fell light is upon them" ability in a single turn is this legal?

I've used spectres and certainly forced multiple courage tests on one model in different games in a single turn

word for word after reading the rules under "taking multiple courage tests" this is a NO NO. help appreciated

cheers

Anthony

If you pass the courage test once, you pass if for every time for that turn. So if you pass the Specter test then you've passed for the whole turn (with that model).

So you have broken my army and I want to attack a model w/ TERROR.
Do I have to make a courage check at the begining of my move phase ( to see if I run away) then anouther courage check to charge into base contact w/ terror model? What if after I move and charge, I an subjected to a spell or specter attack???

Please further clarify and site reference page.

You only have to take one of each type of courage test per turn.

In your example you would have to take three courage tests (1 for breaking, 1 for charging a Terror causing model and one for the spectre). However, assuming you pass them all then you would automatically pass any more Spectre tests you were required to take and if you Heroic Combatted into another Terror causing model you would not need to take another test.

I'm pretty sure this is what JamesR was saying above, he just specifically used the Spectre Test as an example.

As for a reference, it's on the page with the Courage rules.

Thank you all for your contributions. That's certainly cleared the air on the matter.

I've also been playing it wrong RIGG so has Batman. This overdue re-read of the big-book is becoming more of an eye opener each page. Got the big-book coming in the mail so the little book won't have to strain my eyes too much longer.
