They are fantastic by anyone's standard. You seem to have found a talent.

Yes, they are, I think I painted one of my first models around a month ago now :) I've surprised myself really!

Thank you so much!

Here are some photos of my past projects!

The first models I ever painted back in mid-May were the Goblins from the Goblin town starter set. The scheme was devised by myself and Tim (Dezartfox).

The finecast captain was tricky to paint, I wasn't fond of the finecast and feel that it doesn't make the model look all that great, but perhaps that's just me!

My next project was the Goblin King!

I also painted the limited edition Radagast from the starter set. Radagast is probably my favourite character in the films, so I really enjoyed painting him up :)

Image

I've not done anymore of the starter set as of yet. I wanted to leave Thorin's Company and Gandalf until I'd done some other models and perhaps got a bit better :)

The next project was Radagast on Sleigh. For this one, I wanted to change it up a little and make the base look like he was riding through the forest. Tim found a base from one of his old Arachnarok spider bases. I thought this matched really well with the model, perhaps to match the scene in the film when Radagast realises the sickness coming upon the forest.

Image

I also wanted a small Sebastian the Hedgehog added on somewhere to the base, because I really liked the detail on the one on foot, so I was a little disappointed that there wasn't one included in this model. So, Tim made me one out of greenstuff, and I painted him up :)

The goblins and their king look fantastic! I also like the base of Radagast's sleigh.

This stuff is insanely good! Especially seeing as you're so new to painting!
Genuinely the best quality to experience ratio I've ever seen. :yay:

Nice work again Amy, don't you go burning yourself out by doing too much too soon !
The painting looks good though to me, the riders look better than the wargs. Touches like the striped face add character. Like I've said before, I don't like the warg sculpts.
I note you've been using some of Tims day glow pigment for the eyes and mouth, a nice and sinister touch.

Nah no day glow pigment on these! Just some red and blood letter red glaze I believe she used. :)

Thank you! :) I don't feel burnt out yet, having just recently finished my exams I've got nothing else as of yet to do, so it's been nice staying productive! :)

This is what I've been working on today, Fimbul on Warg and also on foot. I've started with the mounted model first, namely with the warg. Today's work comprised of dry brushing and mainly concentrating on the nails and facial features such as the tongue, teeth and eyes. The model is finecast, and as such the teeth haven't cast as nice as I would have wanted but I tried my best to make then look ok!

Gimme a moment while I scrape my jaw off the floor...
First Dezartfox tells us you gave him a run for his money on the gaming table, then I see your painted minis. You really should enter them in the competitions. They are fabulous!
And welcome to the One-Ring!

Thank you very much, the comments are much appreciated!

Here is a photo of today's progress on Fimbul. Just the bases to complete and then they're done! :)

Thankyou everyone :)

Here are the finished photos of Fimbul. Feel like it doesn't look as good compared to the model in real life, might be due to the colour of the background.

I wanted to add drool on the teeth, so Tim taught me how to using UHU glue, which I think came out well :)
