hey all,
This is my very first post on this site.
I have got back into the hobby now after about 8 years off. My son found all my old Mordor + Gondor Figures and wanted to start with some new stuff. So after a quick decision we started a few new projects.
Which include ::
Mirkwood elves
Erebor Dwarfs
Azog Hunter
Gaming Board
and expanding old armies
The last few weeks we decided to sell a few off the old stuff to help with the new stuff. We have had a few games with the news rules, which I found very easy to get back into and really enjoyed it.
I have attached some photos of current projects and will update with new stuff when it happens. Painting is a bit rusty still but slowly getting there.

I love the battle board. Nice work. The elves are very striking.

Greetings, and welcome to the One Ring.

I play a lot of games with my son. It's very good bonding time, and he is very enthusiastic!

The dwarves are a little underexposed in the photo so not as easy to make out but the Rangers and Morgul Knights look great. Very nice work!

Lovely work all around! I suppose when I'm older I can always hope to have a son who is interested in the same things I am. Scary to think I could one day be a parent.

Keep up the good work seems like your not too rusty like you say you are.

Board looks great. Lots of character, natural looking. Minis are great too. I'd use finer sand on the dwarfs though, if you get the opportunity.

Welcome here! Indeed, as other have said, the board looks superb! The figures also look good too. I would agree though that the dwarves basing is sub-par, especially when compared to the gaming board. :)

Thanks for the kind feedback! I agree with what was said by the dwarfs bases and will change them soon enough! Think this was due to laziness! My local games workshop said the same thing to me, and to try a different approach for the elves!
Currently just finishing the remaining elves for 500 points and just brought azog, narzug, fell wargs (Orc riders and normal) and normal hunter orcs so should have a update soon!

Welcome and lovely work, particularly on the board and Mirkwood Elves.

Great looking Morgul knights you got there. Your Mirkwood force looks great in particular Legolas his face looks much better than Games Workshops version, I didn't but it because I thought it was the sculpt but by the looks it must've been their paint job.

Just a small update! In reply to Green_Dragon I had the same problem before I purchased DOS Legolas the workshop's versions face does look fat. But when I got the model I was surprised to see that it wasn't. Probably just the painting.
Started Azog's hunters. The models I have posted are not yet complete but pretty happy with what I have done so far minus Azog himself (particularly hard to get right I thought).
Also had a 400 point battle between Erebor (myself) and Mirkwood (my son) of hold the ground. This resulted in a very humiliating 13-0 loss for me! Worse part was when my army broke, I rolled snake eyes while trying to pass a courage test with Balin! All the little dwarves fled in terror!
Here some pictures

Looks like fun. Although I think you pulled of the paint job on Azog and Legolas quite well.

How did you paint your hunters orcs? I'm having trouble deciding on how I want to paint mine....
