Nice painting and sculpting guys...but then we expect awesomeness now :D

The GK looks great orc-archer, much better than my pitiful attempt.

YEE GADS! That Balrog is simply amazing - stunning work on both the sculpt and paint job, congratulations to you both - you should go into business together! :-)

@Orc-Archer - fantastic Goblin King - one of the best I've seen, really great paint job, very natural and effective - keep it up!

Great work there, DMS. The model is really nice - which model is that, btw? - but the base really stands out to me. Really nice subtle OSL there.

Also really liking orc-archer's Goblin King. Nice texturing on the skin there that really comes off well!

Lovely painting Kev with tons of praise to Dave for an amazing sculpt.
Dare I say this Kev, I have a criticism....saliva on a Balrog ? Surely it wouldn't have any with all that heat ???

Alas, my troll still remains unfinished, and my desk still covered by a mountain of also incomplete coursework.. :o

But a well done to everyone who has completed their entry, its going to be a tough choice deciding which to vote for ! 8)

Well done everyone who completed their monster. I haven't been able to complete any of the monster challenges and this was no exception. Got only rough highlights on the skin painted:

The reason I didn't finish in time was that I had to paint other miniatures for a… game! How cool is that? I haven't played the game for several months so this digression was well worth it.

Seen as what is effectively a WIP, that Goblin King is like an Impressionist painting. And if you squint at it, it really works very well. Go on and finish it - it looks great!
