Hi abcdefg, I've approved your post but it seems you have the incorrect photobucket code. Its the IMG code you need to copy and paste bud. I think its the second code down in the list of codes underneath each individual picture in photobucket.

Yep I can see the pics now but you seem to have the old code that you used in the original post still in there. delete that and just use the IMG code and you've got it.

Great Haradrim by the way.

Nicely painted figures. What are the plans for the bases?

I must agree with JamesR. The angle change of some of the bows is a simple and effective way of adding a nice bit of variety.

Very nice painting. I would recommend that you paint the rim of the captain's(?) base a more neutral colour such as plain black or Steel Legion Drab brown.

Thanks for all the kind words.

As for the bases, none of them are done yet. I can't actually remember when the captain's was painted green. Personally I've decided that I dislike the gw style bases and prefer as thin a base as possible, I particularly admire the bases of jomada (I think that's the name). Consequently I have a load of mordor orcs that are painted but lack any base. As for these miniatures, that's how I intend to base them. So I need to hacksaw hem all from there current bases since they were all glued years ago. When I get some time that is

I've found that, for slot based minis, some careful clipping is usually sufficient to remove the model from the base without need for a saw. Around the edges of the slot itself is the weak spot - a cut at each side up the base edge and the rest of the base came away without much more cutting on most of mine.

Thanks for the tip - that should prove very useful.

In the meantime here are some unbased warg riders.

I really like the changed warg positions! The details like the freehands bowstrings are very nice as well. I am looking forward to seeing them painted.

Excellent miniatures on show here, both in the painting and conversion.

Wow, that is some of the best Wargs I've seen, the conversions are very good, they look great and dynamic, and you've made it look like they're not conversions which shows how good you are. Well done, and keep it up.

:yay:
