Hi guys

Just a quickie bit of a noob question but...

When you use azog on his warg(how much!!)
Do you roll azogs 3 dice alone or 5 including the wargs 2? And can you use either characters will to adjust dice rolls etc OR does the wargs stats only come in when hes on his own and azog has dismounted?

You use the higher stats. (in this case Azog's 3 attacks)

If you charge in you get 3 attacks plus 1 for charging as cavalry.

When I have played him, if the White warg (w/ azog mounted) calls a heroic (strike/ move) and uses his might, then for that combat only his might can be used. The opponent can strike Azog if he wins the fight where azog can use his own might/ fate to prevent wounds to himself). Conversely, if Azog calls it then only his Might can be used that combat.

That may or may not be correct as there haven't been mounts with MWF. It could be that only Azogs MWF can be used when mounted and the white warg's values are for if it is separated/ wounded. It doesn't seem correct for the model to be able to use the sum of MWF AND get the highest of values in combat....

When it comes to riders on mounts, don't you pick the best stats from either, regardless, like ring wraiths on fell beasts?

Yes but fell beasts do not have MWF...

Using might to call heroics as well as modify the rolls in combat is where it could create a questionable scenario.

Plus, when the model is targetted by a spell, such as immobilise, which will is used?

Here's how I've been playing it: you use which ever might would be appropriate and agree with your opponent beforehand what is appropriate. One situation that can also be confusing is courage tests. When charging an enemy that causes terror, you would auto pass because of the White Warg, but what about break tests? What I figure is that the model itself stays automatically, again due to the WW, as do any wargs/warg riders in range. Then, you would also test Azog's courage to see if the Hunter orcs not on wargs stay.

You can use either of their might points for whatever you want, regardless of whose might was used to call what combat etc.
