This is really cool!!! I just wonder.. her sword arm looks really thin, but then again at the painted version it looks ok.. maybe its just the photo then.

Her arms are thin, but then she is a very slender female elf. I just used the original arms as a size guide.

Nice conversion of her, again I'd echo Rognarr and say that her arms almost look skeletal however the painted model does look fine.

Whilst perusing my photobucket account, I found all my old step by step photos of the Beorn development(Bear and man) I did many years ago. It has occurred to me that these pics are no longer anywhere public. Would the budding sculptors out there be interested in me reposting them here in this thread? Or maybe I could articlize them.

This really is great to see Dave. The transition from wire to finished item is impressive. No wonder you are so busy doing work for people.
I would like to see so e more of the painted finale if possible.

Thankyou. There are more pics of the painted version on the very first page of this thread I believe.

Love the Rohan warriors! It's amazing how a small detail can change the character of a whole mini! I've done that on an archer too already, but these guys (esp. the axeman) look so good, that i will probably have another go at it! :)

Likewise for me, the Rohan look great and shows you just what can be done with a bit of filing and green stuff. That has given me the inspiration to tackle Frodo and Sam, cheers Dave.

I really like the first high elf with his helmet at his feet, it just looks really cool. And the pic of Beorn as a man with Frodo is great the pose just works
