WOTR- TIPS TACTICS HELP -Elven Ghaldhrim army

Any tips for an elven army:

2 companies of Haldir's elves
3 companies of ghaladhrim warriors
Glorfindel, Lord of the west
Legolas

Yes, get a lot more. get some normal captains, banners. You want common formations ,as a minimum, woth 4 companies and preferably 6. Also, have you got any more information about points limits, opponents etc.

PS: FAO MODS, can this be moved to the army help section.

Sorry only have a tactics. Never collected elves :sad:

, but versed them plenty of times. Take advantage of their shoot value. Max out on bows and you'll find that your enemy will become a lot smaller.

I always hated when my army became outnumbered because of a couple of elves with bows and legolas. Killing your enemy will be faster towards the end too.

Get cheaper heroes!!

Legolas and glorfindel are to expensive.. get haldir for example.. he's good!
Same as thranduil

Ive already got Haldir, Haldir's elves, and shall i swap legolas for thranduril?

yes that's a good idea!

Legolas is way to expensive for a small force. His dad has about the same abilities which make him quite usefull.

Indeed - the difference between them is mostly that Legolas allows troops to fight a stage earlier than the opponent of equal type or at the same time as one type above, whereas Thranduil has teh magicks. Those 75pts are best saved for elsewhere most of the time.

1 Swap Haldirs's Elves for Haldir+Elves, a far, far, far better deal. (the second best Epic in stead of Take Aim).
2 Get a LOT more Galadhrim. 4-6 companies, as Southerdunedain mentioned.
3 Steer away from captains. They are a point sink you cannot afford as Elves.
4 If you have the money, get High Elf Cohorts. They are the only durable Elf infantry. If not, swap Legolas for Galadriel (lady), and use Epic Defense on your main Galadhrim block.
