Sorry, but am I the only one who thinks that stupid Radagast bunny-wabbit thingy (with the Radagast just about visible in a tiny corner of a hideously oversized and boring base) is just terrible. A complete and utter waste of £30.00 or £20.00 or even if it was the 10p it cost to make....

Must be.........

I logged on to the Australian GW and no you're not the only one. Compared to the crazy stuff coming out for 40k or WFB it's rather plain and insubstantial and yet I don't see it fitting in with the rest of my lotr collection. Oh, and it's the equivalent of £55 over there.

I agree with MungoBaggins. I don't think it looks very good. The rabbits especially look pretty bad. Also--interesting choice for a base, I think it's way too large.

I find it interesting how they basically used the same mini as the plastic Radagast. I think it looks pretty good.

 you can never please everyone. Out of interest, what size base would you put it on? Anything else (IMO) would have been far too small.

I personally love the sculpt and will be the first thing I have pre-ordered and picked up on release day for the hobbit.

The base is the best one the game could have used. The WFB chariot base would have been best, but obviously they don't want to mix and match square and round bases. The daemons release had the empty-bases problem too, the Blood Cannon and Burning Chariot both being just the right size for a chariot base, but really small on the oval 40k/Hobbit base.

The base is sparse because thats what the guy who painted that particular model has chosen to do with it. I can't wait to get my hands on that base

Have already pre-ordered this model, but I'll reserve my judgement until I take a look at it first hand, looks fun though :)

Also a little disappointed that there wasn't a "chase" scenario in this month's WD with Radagast attempting to out run the Hunter Orcs on their Fell Wargs.....

Stupid yes. As models go, it looks to me like it's well done. But I would never buy it. I hated that whole part of the movie, no need to be reminded. In some ways I feel like the Hobbit is ruining SBG. Maybe it'll pick up again after the BotFA.

It is pretty silly, but II still like it as it will stand out in a collection of generally Grim looking models, however whatever anyone thinks of the model, I have assembled some interesting ideas on the concept:

In all seriousness, if I had the money, I would make it happen!

Does anybody know if there will be any new goblins? Like the little guy wrote stuff down in the movie or something different?

The little Guy is known as "the Scribe" he was one of the first releases and can be found in the Goblin Town boxed set.

Does he need another model? Not exactly much that they can do with it practically. Now Dwarves on Ponies, that is a kit I'd like to see.

I would like them to release the mangler and the bone breaker or whatever the Goblin torture racks were called, naturally they would need a special rule effecting will and or morale etc. I would also like another goblin captain for variety!

There are already 2 poses, the little one from EfGT and the FC variant.
