Right, Azog's done... He still needs scarring, but the sculpt is complete! That was fun. Really fun. I'll get pics up in a sec...

Azog's disability, made with a bit of plastic sword, and some metal flash from mounted Saruman.

Next shots of the completed Azog! And yeah, the first cut was... difficult! But the on foot Yazneg is still whole, and an Orc Captain :P

wow, the mounted wizards are simply fantastic!, very well done. Takes courage to cut up a new miniature for an Azog conversion but you certainly had the skill and confidence to see it through, very well executed piece, savage end result.

Thanks :) I've added one more greenstuff bit of cloak to his back to make his bum look less flat, but pretty sure he's one now. Now just got to work out how to paint the bugger :P

Wow indeedy, I am stunned, this is even better than I expected, he looks perfect :yay:

Also, now I can see the White Warg painted as ther White Warg for a change. Wish I could start painting again.

Your Azog conversion is brilliant. So beautifully done!
I'm curious why you chose to do this though. They are going to release him anyway so why not wait?

I first thought that beserker would be too small, but you've bulked it out nicely. Its a shame you didn't get this done in time for last months sculpting compy. It would have done very well I'm sure. I look forward to seeing it painted up.

Sorry for the double post, just on my quest to mount everything... So to speak... I am in need of a Fell warg with moulded legs... Does anyone have a Hunter orc on fell warg spare? Not the end of the world if not, just wondered if anyone would be up for a trade or something on here if anyone has one!... Even just the warg half!

Regarding col our, I was going to go for a shadow grey base coat and work up to white from there. It is difficult because the scars vary in colour throughout the movie. Darker than the skin. Lighter than the skin. Pink. Purple. Dark grey. Take your pick.
