Hello, just thought I'd introduce myself. 25 Years old from the Netherlands, just came back to the hobby after what I think was an 8 years break. Been reading on the forums for quite a while, and thought I'd make an account.

The Hobbit movie, (which I have now watched 5 times) sorta dragged me back to the hobby. So I recently stocked a boatload of new paints (made the switch to Vallejo), managed to pick up a brand new Mines of Moria set for 20 euro's, and started painting and repainting! Also still had a lot of minis laying around, so been quite busy for the last few weeks! Planning to post a WIP thread, if people are interested ofcourse, but I've done some painting for GW Amsterdam in the past, and also done some 40k commision painting, so I'm not half bad.

Anyway nice to meet you all!

O one last question I'd like to ask to anyone having experience with the tradepost, or trading on other forums of the sort. I have a boatload of OOP metal Warhammer and 40K stashed in different boxes including larger models and whatnot, which I plan on sorting out and looking to trade for LotR. Just looking for some good trading forum (apart from the one on here), and wondering what people's experiences are in trading etc. (I'm a little cautious since I have never done any trading before)

Hi there and welcome to the One Ring and indeed back to the hobby. It will be great to see some of your stuff in a WIP thread, looking forward to that.

With regard to trading 40k and warhammer by all means set up a thread in the trading post here on the One Ring but I would also have a look at putting the same list on www.warhammer.org.uk as there is a high demand for fantasy/40k minis on there.
