The "There is nobody home!" clip is hilarious.

It goes without saying that Serkis' performance is Oscar worthy. Wow.

He won't get it. His work as Gollum and as Ceasar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes were just brilliant, but since he's in a green suit, the idiots in Hollyweird won't nominate him.

These are fabulous - I must let some other film nerds know about them too. I love Gollum's last line. The Goblin Town escape sequence has diorama written all over it.

I watched. I was getting cold feet from some things and needed to have my faith restored. They're nice. Not too bad of a spoiler risk if are familiar enough with the stories and rumors to date.

The only real spoiler is in the "Who did you tell" one. It kinda shows the direction of some of the movie, but not that much. I really like all of them, but all the dwarves falling in at once was kinda childish. Also, Kili's face when he actually blocked an arrow was hilarious.

... but taken straight from the book, IIRC. Remember, The Hobbit was/is much more light hearted than its big brother. I don't mind seeing this reflected in PJ's adaptation of the written work.

I seem to remember them coming in 2-3 at a time with Thorin and Gandalf coming last.

I watched all the cilps, and, for a change, I actually had the sound on. Strange that Radagast sems to be following the company, and strange that much frim FotR book seems to have made it in.

Thorin and Gandalf came with about 4 of the others, and all except Gandalf fell down, and Thorin was not very happy because he was at the bottom, and Bombur was on the top.
