Another great battle. Though, I think that oyur brother did not use the best tactics. He should have gone for radagast right off the bat, and he didn't seem to be trying to surround your guys very much. (Though maybe that was because of failed courage tests...) Also, I'm surpised how well your bog standard eagles did, did you roll really well with them? With only 3 (I think) attacks, and no charge bonuses, if they don't roll a six you're in trouble most of the time....

Anyways, a good battle, and good to see you get this army rolling. I look forward to what it can do with the new rules. 8)

That's a nice report. Those are great eagle models. Did you convert a radagast on a stag model?

Hehe, you were correct, all my guys cause terror, so surrounding them never happened. Same with his attempts to get radagast. Also, I kept radagast out of charge range in most turns. Playing with lots of scenery and the size of the monster bases makes radagast safer!

The eagles are good, only two attacks but 8 defence and high strength so they lost lots of fights, but with lots of wounds they are still hard to kill. Even more so when radagast heals the rare wound that gets through. The hasharin were the only real threat.

Yup, there's a few posts on the blog if you want details of the conversion.

Somehow I missed this, what a great report! And those eagles look great, I'm really looking forward to getting a few of the new ones.
