I like those Goblins a lot better than previous pictures and the action figures, etc. Why the toy company would use the pale human flesh tone rather than that darker one displayed in those stills is beyond me.

What Galadriel said that the Dunedain buried the Witch-King in a spell protected crypt.... omg if that is true. Since when such things exist in Tolkien's universe? The Dunedain don't possess magic in any form. Remnants of Elves may hold evil creatures at bay and have magic-like properties, but this is a major alteration. :meh:

Not necessarily. Runes and songs have power in Middle-Earth, and I can easily believe Dunedain lords with their Elven allies closing the crypt of one of their most feared foe with such wards.

But it NEVER happened in the books. The WK and the other Nazgul merely fled, they were never captured.

Not quite true, as the dagger Merry held contained a spell for the unbinding of the Witch King. It wasn't Eowyn or the fact she was a woman, it was that Merry stabbed him with that particular dagger, which made him vulnerable to her sword.

But otherwise I agree, if the binding of the witch king becomes part of the movie...ridiculous.

One of the goblins in Adanedhel88's post looks like it's mad he didn't get a part in Avatar 2 (very similar face). I'm not happy about the whole concept of capturing the WK either. I know PJ made some changes to LotR to make it possible to tell the overall story in the scope of films and agree with most of those changes, but it seems he's take liberties a little too far. Still have hope...

Looks like Radagast has a terrible sense of personal hygiene...

That so badly looks like bird droppings in his hair. I think I'm going to stop looking at anything related to the movie until I have a chance to actually see it...

I'm pretty sure that that's mud to cover a wound, one of the trailers had what looked like something tearing through the top of what I can only assume was Radagasts house. If he was attacked, using mud as a poultice would make sense.

The goblin on the warg looks menacing! The goblins look very different as well. I think its to classify different species of goblins/orcs. Has anyone noticed that Radagast's staff is Gandalf's staff in LOTR? I'm guessing they do a switch?
