You did a good job on these guys. I really like your colour scheme. However, those breight red lips are a we bit to girly looking for me. (Even for pansy elves.... )

Here is my second Aragorn. He comes from the "Fellowship of the Ring" boxed set. I tried to give him an unshaved look because of the comments about the girly lips of the twin Elves. Although the lips were painted Tallarn flesh and washed with Dark flesh. Anyway, below you can see Aragorn and any comment is welcome:

Thank you all for your comments. My new project is Faramir. I gave him a shield and a new horse. I know that rules do not allow him to carry a shield, but to my eye something was missing from his stretched left arm! Anyway the other miniature of Faramir, the Captain of Ithilien has a shield! Now, I have to paint them. Any C&C are welcome.

Certainly looks better with a shield - the outstretched arm was crying out for one. Can't wait to them painted up

It's amazing how some little changes can make all the difference to how a model looks, looking forward to seeing more.

Great stitching detail on Aragorn, and lovely colours on the twins.

The Faramir conversion is simple and effective - the best kind.

Great job . well done . Especially well done on the eyes, theyre dificult to paint on helmeted mini's and you've pulled it off well.

His face look great. How did you manage do paint the eyes? As was said previously the addition of the shield makes the model much more appealing.

Thank you both. Frankly speaking, it is very difficult to paint the eyes of a miniature. Especially for my because I do not see very well at close distance, as I did when I was young. Longsightedness is to blame, but I do not give up, I use magnifiers and I keep trying! The inspiration to start doing this was the following post:

And here is Faramir mounted:

I managed to finish my first Goblin warband. It consists of a captain with a bow, four swordsmen, four spearmen and four archers. More warbands will follow, all on the same type bases which I made back in February. As always, any C&C are welcome.
