here one of my reports for the throne of skulls thing that i decided to take part in
this is my first ever Batrep so please be nice
I will be playing as legolas BTW



Gandalf: 'The board is set; the pieces are moving.'




turn 1
Gimli charges toward legolas, waving his axes madly but his legs are slightly too short so Legolas calmly aims for Gimli's face and proceeds to miss with a rubbish roll of 1-2-2.



turn 2
Gimli carries on charging, and Legolas uses his triple shot and hits! but then he fails to wound as the elven arrows simply bounce off the dwarfs armour.








turn 3


Gimli wins priority and decides to throw an axe at Legolas' head. Gimli's axe wounds the elf but Legolas manages to dodge out of the way using one of his fate points. Legolas decides that he doesnt like people that throw axes at him, so he sends some arrows flying around gimli's head. Luckily for the dwarf, Legolas had one too many cups of ale the previous night and so misses all three shots.





Turn 4


Gimli finally manages to charge Legolas and attacks him with an axe in each hand but, much to Gimli's dismay, legolas wins the fight and fails to wound (again ).




Turn 5
Once more the battle is met and this time Gimli manages to inflict 2 wounds, one of which was deflected using 2 fate. now Legolas has no fate left




Turn 6
Legolas wins priority and charges Gimli to stop him lobbing his axes. By the usage of all Gimli's might the mighty miget finally kills legolas










Result: Gimli finally kills his rival orc-killer. I'm not really suprised Gimli won, to beat defence 8 you just need alot more strenth and might (and no rubbish rolling )

well done mate this is cool, there is a special bow upgrade in one of the deagnosti mags that gives the bow str 4 and a reroll on one missed shot for 20 points .. nothing too official but I think it makes Legolas a bit more filmlike.

I really dont know to be honest and im not totally sure its fair but I like using it myself its probably the mag that came with galadrial as its her gifts to the fellowship I think
