I have joined the 2nd RPG, but before I reply to the first one with a back-stabbing blow, does anyone else want to make a reply?

is he from the other RPG or the book or from your imagination?

also does anybody know what RPG stands for?
i thought it stood for rocket proppeled grenade?!?!

I'd be happy to join one of the RPGs, although I'll be going away in about 10 days, so would it be easier if I joined after, or should I just go off on a scouting mission?

@Sid, Ulfang is an Easterling from the First Age, made up by Tolkein. I know Black Numenoreans aren't generallly blood-related to Easterlings, it's just that I really like Easterlinngs, but I didn't want him to be from the same place.It's quite possible that, if he had any descendents, they could have moved into Umbar and married into the local, diluting the line a little.

@Chris: No join now! The players are approaching an inn in the original rpg thread, perfect time for new characters *cough cough*. Infact we could link the two plots together at that inn, have the new characters head there as a waypoint on thranduil's mission, then finish both of the missions in sync on one thread. Who would be up for that, opinions?

Well, I like the idea just as much as I dislike it. I was thinking of having Thranduil sending the party to assassinate the Easterling king and seek out what are their plans, but joining up would be a good idea. The difficulty would be the fact you need to play 2 characters in one thread, aswell as that both missions are partly about stealth I think, and how stealthy is a group of more than 10 heroes compared to 4 or 5? I'm going on vacation soon too, but, as my father takes his lovely 3G Ipad with him, I can still post

Okay fair enough, those are pretty different missions which will not have any sort of relation to one another. Also, when is your mission set? I believe ours is set just two years before the events of the lord of the rings, if yours is set at a similar/beforehand time then we could merge the characters occasionally

Hmmm, ours is set just after Frodo leaves the Shire, as both Thranduil and Dain are afraid of an Easterling attack on their realms. Thranduil is also scared by Dol Guldur, but as infiltrating that one is way more difficult as infiltrating Rhun, he sends the companions to Rhun.

I was trying to paint the picture that Kaldor was holding up a make shift door out of a shield to block the goblins off as the companions escaped via a short tunnel, not run into them mindlessly, sorry everyone

Also, you've all arrived at a crossroads far away from the grey mountains now, not sure if that was clear either
