Reminded me of my first battle using a mumak, ahhh sooo many dead enemy heroes.....

Thanks for the positive replies. The terrain and Mumakil were my latest big projects and took quite awhile. Had never seen one used before. As you say "Dead Heroes" ! Next time I think we'll see different tactics used.

Thanks for sharing! First time i've visited your blog, and I am enjoying all the pics and the other battle reports. In this one, when Boromir wounded the Mumak, did it stampede? I wasnt sure from reading the report but usually one stampede can wipe out loads of enemy troops. But then again you were up against the old Far Harad rules eiks!

No it did not stampede because of the Mahud Beastmaster being in position controlling the Mamuk (making it easier to keep under control). What we learnt was that Gondor should have done is killed him first using archery. The old Far Harad rules certainly were a surprise when they tore into the Rohirrim!
