Painting Black Numenorians

I really dont like the paint scheme used on BNs so I found another one that I love the look of but I have no idea how to go about painting it.

Any advice would be appreciated

i wish i painted it, i want to know how to paint it!

It looks like it was basecoated with Bestial Brown, then Snakebite Leather was added to it gradually and layered until it looked like the orangey colour.
The grey(?) cloth looks like it was Chaos Black mixed with increasing amounts of Rotting Flesh or Kommando(?) Khaki.

Do you have any idea how the effect on the armour was achieved?

Not really sure, but I can guess at:

Bestial Brown basecoat, rough stippling/drybrush (i.e. stabbing the model with an old brush) of boltgun metal (with a bit of black mixed in) and then a drybrush with boltgun. Next, stipple it with Incubi Darkness (base paint). Finally stipple with Ulthan Grey (Layer 2)
