Man! I really need to get some of those knights! Every time I see them painted up like this I get jealous. :(

Thanks Gondors Finest. :)

Sorry for a later than promised update.

I have finished the Haradrim's robes and their cloaks. Head scarves, waist sashes and shoes not yet done.

I chose to do the robes a series of various colours. Like other ancient Arabic armies, they do not all wear the same clothes as each other.

However I did do all their cloaks the same colour. I painted them scarlet. I did this because in Tolkiens books, the Haradrim are described as wearing scarlet cloaks. It also give them a sense of unity without making them all identical. I also love the colour red.

First I will just show you the step by step visual documentation of painting their cloaks.

I am still amazed. Any progress on Suladin, or is he already finished? I don't remember.

Wow, the cloaks look perfect. I like the Knights over the page too.

And you can't work all the time at Uni so I'm sure you can fit in some bits and pieces here and there :)

Absolutely outstanding painting. Those are easily the best Haradrim I've seen, and some great conversions. It's really great to see such warm painting that does not look out of place in Middle Earth.
