Thanks again for the comments! Here is my finished Sauron.

And here are some pics of what I'm working on right now.

The armor isn't finished yet if you can't tell, but it's getting there. I don't think the armor is as good as it could've been, but it'll be good enough.
Comments and criticism welcome.

Well, I don't have any more progress on the Easterlings to show yet, but here are some teasers for what''s to come.

I've also been putting together some Easterling kataphrakts, and using the spare parts to make some conversions. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up here soon.

Great conversions, they'll add some character to your army. Your Sauron looks fantastic! and the painted Easterlings look well worn.

Thanks for the comments! Hopefully I'll have some more pics soon. I've got some of GW's new paint to try, I'm liking them so far.

I originally didn't have the tree, mushrooms, or flowers on the base, but then I saw DMS' Legolas and base, and I immediately knew I needed something else, and this is what I ended up with. I really like how it turned out, and I had a lot of fun with this one. Please comment and criticize.

really nice job! my only suggestion is to bring haldir in a more "vertical" position.. it feels like he's aiming for the ground.. could be the picture's angle fault..

cheers :D

I think the tree was a smart move. Adds something to the imagination, or something like that... hmm. .............(lost in thoughts)..........................
Can't remember what I was going to say. Oh well.

Your Haldir is awesome - great base too. Your painting just keeps improving and improving. Really great work.

Thanks for all the comments! I had a lot of fun painting it, so I'm glad you guys like it.
@Whatevier, thanks for the suggestion. I had also noticed this but it was the best position imo, though I guess it would've looked pretty cool in a few different places too.
@simmuskhan, no problem. I myself really enjoy looking at what others have done and I get plenty of ideas and inspiration from this forum, though I don't know if I've really ever inspired anyone before. Anyway, I'm glad you like it.

Anyway, right now I'm kind of what you may call a "Painting low." Since I didn't do as well as I hoped in the challenge(but I did do as I expected :-D ) I can't seem to pick up a brush and paint. So I was wondering if there was anything particular about my Haldir that someone didn't like, or if there was something that I could have done better.
I'll try to post some pictures tonight of my Easterling archers though, they are almost done, I just need to get a few more paints.
