Hey guys.

I haven't been active on this site for a couple of years now. But I'm back!

Anyway, time to share my stuff with you. You may recognise some of this stuff from my old WIP thread.

Finally I am ready to paint my Haradrim foot soldiers.

Anyway, here's my work.

Apologise in advance if the photo's are too big and get cut off at the side.

Buhrdur. Sculpted this guy from scratch. 100% home made.

Shagrat and his mordor Uruk Hai. Not fully painted.

Suladin and Harad King. Both sculpted from scratch. (photo might be a little bit out of focus).

Enjoy

P.S I hope the photos don't get cut off.

EDIT: God dammit

Woah! I love seeing conversions and sculpts! Really digging those Haradrim conversions with swords! Is the third Mordor Uruk from the left a conversion and if so using which miniatures?

Thanks mate.

No, none of the mordor Urukhair are conversions. They are the miniatures from the blister packs 1 and 2.

Fantastic job!

How did you do the bow string? Was it hard? Would my meaty fingers be able to do it? ;)

I cut appropriate lengths of thin sewing string. I then put super glue at each end of the bow and painfully attached the string, making sure that each one was tight enough to look like bow string under tension.

It is a very fine and fiddly task. Fine and fiddly tasks is my speciality. However, I don't see why you couldn't do it. Just give it a go. :-D

You have done some spectacular conversions, scratch-building and painting.

I've not heard of you before, but I definately look forward to seeing more.

Thanks Gothmogthewerewolf.

More to come guys.

Mordor Uruk Hai are nearly done. They just need basing and maybe some blood on those weapons.

Haradrim are undercoated too.

Indeed amazing work. It's good to see the troll finally finished and painted up. What ever happened to the shade you were scultping.....

Just fyi, how I do bow string is; snip a piece of sewing thread I know is too long. Then glue one end to the bow and let it dry. Next I wrap it around the bow a couple times, then stretch it to the other bow limb. I add a bit of superglue to make sure the wrapped stuff stays in place. Then I add a drop of glue to the opposite bow limb and wrap the string around it. Finally, cut the excess string from the end of the bow limb. :)

Wow. Thats how I did them too. You just reminded me. Dang I new I had forgotten to explain something in that previous post.

Oh and that shade is kinda finished. I have finished sculpting him. But I need to find his base which has run away at the moment. I also need to paint him.

HA! Geniuses think alike..... :D
Hopefully you can find the base for the shade so we can see him all finished up. Though, I am also really looking forward to seeing your haradrim painted up. Are you planning on going for a GW style colour scheme, or a more realistic brown/tan type one? (Like the one in the article section here on the O-R)
