@POW - really good job on this miniature , the star and the armour is awesome as is the face . Good job all round!!
@Sacrilege83 - Another all round good miniature... I have a feeling that there was a lot more work went into this painting than you think in the first instance. Really well thought out and detailed stuff. Particularly like the armour. Well done!
@Islestaggerholm - :yay: :yay: :yay: Well done for pushing through it mate and coming out the other side with a fantastic result. I agree this is a difficult miniature to get to a self satisfied state. You should be proud of this miniature I'm sure you'll get your 2 votes + . Well done ( and get your WIP thread started so we can see more !! 8) )

Here's my WIP shot: Image

He's had more work done on him since that picture, it's mainly the base left to do. Hopefully I'll actually having something finished before the last minute! I've been testing a few techniques on him, some have worked, others haven't but I'm fairly happy overall.

Okay, one day left and I might make it. we shall see.......

Most of the foot version is done, just some details and basing
Still have a way to go on the mounted, same detail left to do as foot version plus the detail in the horse.

This one is a little less blurry.

Good job Jobu, some nice shading. Just the mt version has a crazy eye though, no matter.

@DMS I forgot about your crazily painted mounted Glorfindel. Another one of my favorites.

Late finish by me this month (well even first finish to be more exact :) )

I had to pump it a bit due to some great entries by all you guys. I decided to go in more "original" way with Arwen, so you won't see the usual purple here ;)

I'm uploading only two as pics and one combined photo as a link( in order not to trash topic :)

http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j114/ ... Arwena.jpg - here's a combined effort ;)

Wow! She is absolutely stunning! Her hair has been highlighted perfectly. Excellent work! 8)
I think you should have kept all four pictures. In the link, the bottom left picture really shows her face.

I like the skin pattern Haldir_pl gave the horse. Very nice.

My apologies, the deadline isn't for another 7 hours yet (British local time), sorry I completely forgot about the extended deadline. Keep going if you're not finished yet 8)

With a brush dip and a layer of matte varnish. Lighting for the photo could have been better, but natural light often fails at this time of year...

Sorry to hear Cal. Still thanks for participating and it'd still be nice to see a picture of your entry when you're able to get one up :)
