Snow camo gets dirty really quickly. This:
http://www.wreckamovie.com/shots/show/4739 gives some colour photo's from re-enactors, but I've found it hard to find genuine pictures from the Eastern Front, which would be your best guide. Most of the few I've found show the soldiers looking grey against the white snow.
If you're trying to do something like Rangers against goblins in the snow, then you're looking at whites, pine green and greys, with a liberal helping of mud on knees, backside, elbows and lower legs (modern soldiers lie down to take up firing positions; Rangers would lie down as they're sneaking up on the bad guys). Either that, or normal clothing with a big white cloak over all.
