I'm really sorry guys! I'll start on the scenarios right away!

@ guardian of the citadel: I'm looking forward to see the blog when I return from my holiday. 8)
(if you have the time of course  )

@ ragbur: good to hear you are back. It's been a while, so I don't remember very well, which campaign where you working on? (balrog or war of dwarves/orcs)
I hope you can get a few scenarios up soon for then I can also get back working on the maps.

I've started on the article for the board and it's coming along nicely, but I'll be going on a holiday tomorrow, so you won't hear anything from me until saturday the 28.

@eaothen: still haven't read your entire article, I know  but what I have seen looks very good.
I'll take a better look at it after this holiday.

Guys, what can I say, the content I've seen so far looks awesome. 8) :D
However I edited a couple of the articles, some of the sentence structure needed some fixing (if English isn't your first language then that's fine)
Also its very simple to add certain letters and characters in MS Word for dwarfish words and so on, just highlight the letter you want to change, then go to INSERT -> SYMBOL -> then pick the one you want. Easy :) I've done this for the KG painting guide as you can see...

It has been several months since the last reply, but this project is well worth it to bring a thread back from the dead.

How many of the old team are still working on this? (please leave a reply, if you still want to work on it even if you aren't working on it in the next few weeks)

And as always, were looking for new people who want to help us with this project.
We especially need scenario-makers for the second and third campaign, as we can't really finish this book without the scenarios.

Here's a small list of what we have and need.

-a history of the dwarves (small one and large one are both finished)
-Apendix battle companies (finished but needs playtesting)
-campaign one (finished needs play testing)
-Campaign two ( under construction but we seriously need a few people for the scenarios and profiles.)
-Campaign three (same as two but a bit further)
-Articles we have quite a few articles especially terrain and painting, and only one on conversions, I'm working on two articles atm.
-Artwork we have a bit of artwork, but we really need more pictures.

As you can see there is still a lot to be done

As for myself, I will be active, but not as active as I have been in the past.
When I started with school this year I was very Ill and I'm recovering very slowly.
And I also have a lot of other work to do, so time for this is a bit limited.

I finish school on wednesday next week so I'll be doing my best to cram in as much hobby as I can in the following weeks after that. :) That includes painting up my dwarves and doing some sculpting projects most likely dwarf-related :D So should be able to work on some articles too.

I don't usually do this but: :D :D :D :D
You can chose between campaign two and three, Personally I would go for three as you'ver got a bit of a guideline down there.
To be able to acces the files you will need to download dropbox and send me an pm with your E mail adress so that I can add you to the list.
There's a list with all the scenarios for that campaign in the folder (scenario 1 has been completed) and you might want to take a look at campaign one, to give you a bit of an idea about the layout. (I'll add the background and make the maps, so dont worry about that, but could you make crude maps so that I can see what you mean.)

@ Elros; Good to hear that, looking forward to once again seeing some progress on this project.
(you already have a dropbox account, Haven't you?)

I'll finish the board today (want to try some new techniques) and "ll try to finish the coresponding article.

@ everyone: if you want to help, your more than welcome here (and there is a lot you can do, not just articles and scenarios, so please reply)
@ the old team: Please leave a reply if you still want to work on this (also if you don't have the time atm)

I'll post an update when the article is finished.

I would like to help but have no interest in dwarves whatsoever, is there anything not related to dwarves that you need help with?

@ gothmog: yes and no, You could do all kind of things that are usefull for us but aren't speciffically related to dwarves.
You could make terrain articles (maybe an board for the great battle at the end of campaign three)
Or if you think you're up to the task, make scenarios for one of the campaigns (will involve dwarves but that you like to create them doesn't mean you like playing the scenarios)
Or maybe an general article (for example we have one on how to base your minis.)
Or you could keep an blog online.
Or try some artwork (sketches, painting, photoshop, anything is possible.)
And If you have another idea, please just post an reply as most things are possible, we just don't want two people doing the same thing.
So yes you could do something without dwarves but almost everything is related to it.

Please send me a pm with your email adress so I can add you to dropbox (you'll have to download it to acces the files)
So, welcome aboard. :D

ps do you like goblins, dragons or giant spiders?

Oohh... Yes... You keep saying sorry and keep saying 'I should work on it, how can it be that this project isn't over yet', and now you realise you haven't really done anythin'.
But let me plzzzz finish the current campaign. Hilbert perhaps the next or so ?

Raggbur: welcome back, you were working on the war If i'm correct?
So that should leave durin and the balrog open for Hilbert.
(or was it the other way around :? )
Any idea when the first scenarios will be finished?
