Hey all,

I asked this over at TLA, but just in case there's someone here who knows and doesn't go on there, I'll ask here too.

Anyone know exactly how many separate pieces make up the Mordor War Catapult? I'm not worried about the pieces making up the crew, just the actual catapult structure.
I asked GW and they said "roughly 20", which I'm sure you can imagine was a less than helpful response.

Anyway, help would be appreciated

It's 13 pieces that make up the catapult. if you want a rough break down of the parts let me know as I have an unmade kit at the top of my lead pile...

Ok, let's see....

There's the base to the frame, a left and right side of the frame, a top to the frame, 4 wheels, the stone ammo in it's holder, the throwing arm, the top of the counterweight, a small lever and another piece that I'm not too sure about myself.....

Well it's missing two pieces at least, the small lever and the part I can't identify, plus I'm not sure it has the top of the counterweight, it's hard to see how it's positioned in the photo. But if it has that and is only missing the two parts I mentioned and you get it for around $9 with the Troll loader that's a bargain

Well as much of a bargain as that one is, I think I'll be happy if I just wait for a complete set. My forces of Gondor can breathe a sigh of relief for now
