These really could be used to flesh out the numbers for Rohan - and look at the transfers and banners - HORSES! There are 44 troops per box (for £20!) and there are multibox deals too. Parts are interchangeable with GB's Viking Hirdmen so you can create even more variety and customisation.

I have hundreds of spare slotta bases so all I have to do is remove all or most of the moulded base on these and there you go - Rohan infantry. Adding cloaks and other odds and ends would make the blending even better.
Something to think about, all you Rohirrim out there...

Brilliant idea Chris, I have been wondering how to do a Rohirrim army without resorting to the tired old plastics from GW. They are necessary of course, but they are showing their age.
