Hmm, lets see, Plastic Khazad Guards maybe? Plastic Prowlers? I wonder!
I'm at work, so I don't have my books on hand, but that sounded a lot like the intro stuff on the Khazad-dum book. That makes me a little leery of them doing anything worthwhile here. :(

I expect it to be like the new Chaos Daemons release, some plastic kits, a new plastic monster and (maybe) a new metal monster. The 'Incoming: Daemons' had the same amount of useful infromation. I'm sure there will be some good things to come from it

GW is just using it's standard new release thing: Teaser->Pre-Orders-> Actual Release.

I'm personally hoping for Gundabad Blackshields and Stone Giants.

We might also get Floi Stonehand, Loremaster of Moria and The Kings Champion, both listed in WOTR.
Any new releases is good news and shows GWs commitment to LOTR
I would be supprised to see any new release not mentioned in WOTR.

I only hope that it is like the new daemons release. Unfortunately I doubt that we will be getting any plastic. I think that GW used it 'plastic quota' on things like the new daemons and the new fantasy starter set. There are also rumors of new fantasy terrain which will be plastic.

In any case I will get some more items for my misty mountains army.

I'm guessing there's gonna be Stone Giant and Cave drake maybe. I'm pretty sure we're going to get Gunabad blackshield blisters and the rules for them are bound to come in an oncoming white-dwarf. For dwarves I reckon there'll be King's champion and Floi.

BTW, what's everyone been using as a king's champion up to now?

Interesting. I'd appreciate a metal cave drake...

Guy on Warseer gets the product code numbers and what they relate to early. He says there will be three metal blisters and two metal boxes in this release. So he can't tell what's coming, only what form it's coming in :)

Same guy got the same info for the last release, which was spot on. Closer to the date he was able to let us know what as going to be in each blister.

No plastic. But plenty of room for blackshields, king's champion, cave drake, maybe even a stone giant.

Man, metal giant will be bull. Well I wasn't gonna get a giant anyway so its good. I was hoping for a cave drake/dragon multipart plastic kit but I guess the cave drake is metal then. I want a dragon, its just so damn expensive.

Moria Expeditionaries are possible but they don't seem like the kind of unit people would get in metal...

It’s most likely that they will just release the models that are in the ‘One Ring’ rulebook that are not out yet.

I’m hoping that they will release plastic prowlers as well, as I see in ‘Legions of Middle Earth’ prowlers have Orc bows, shields and two-handed weapons listed under war gear but we have only seen them with two-handed weapons in the metal blister packs.

I don't think they are 'likely' to do that, because every model shown of the Goblin/Dwarf ranges in what you call the 'One Ring' rulebook, by which I understand the Big Blue Book (BBB) are already brought out by Games Workshop. So I disagree with you on that.

The question is, are the new releases really 'new' or are they only replacing other models, for example, plastic Prowlers.

Definately sounds promising, as with all of the lotr release now, they are WoTR orientated, so expect 3 man command sets.

some suggestions then:

-Stone Giant (Very likely since we don't have anything even close from GW in the lotr range)

-Spider broodling swarm blister (Might see these return in pairs in blisters, bit like the giant spiders)

-Cave Drake (This sounds promising!)

-New Plastic Dragon kit (?!)

-Black shields commanders (might see a heroic posed goblin captain on a rock perhaps, coupled with a new shaman and 1 "man" drummer perhaps. If not then maybe a breakdown of this in 2 blister packs)

-New Plastic Cave troll kit (Lots of weapons to choose from, maces, clubs, spears. Adding chains, different arms, a helmet etc etc)

lots of possibilites and potential here - Go on GW!

I thought of that as well, it would be great if it happened. :)

Well recently we have seen monsters become kits with a certain degree of multipart to them...First the mordor troll with drum, isengard or normal. Then the ent with branches. Then i suppose the fellbeast wraith kit...I wouldn't be too surprised if we see a monster kit of some variety! 8)

Plastics are basically out the window at this point (if the guy who was 100% correct last time, who says he has the product lists, is right again).
