I would like to know what hero do you think might work the best with Dalamyr in a 500 point easterling force for SBG? Obviously i need one from the easterlings so maybe a captain or warpriest or dragon-knight?

I would take a captain. Dalamyr is a great fighter so you'll want a captain or war priest to keep your troops in line. I feel that a captain is the better choice as he provides more might but a war priest could also be useful thanks to fury.

I agree, a Captain would be a good idea as Dalamyr only has a single point of might which is best saved for if he rolls a 1 for using his smoke bombs, so you need a hero like a Captain to call Heroic Moves.

I third that the Captian would be better as he is better at keeping the army on the board once it is broken. A dragon knight is for killing elites and smaller heroes, and guess what? Dalamyr does that job much better anyway.

I would say Amdur as you kinda need a leader (in my experiences, Dalamyr works best on his own, seperate from the rest of the force). But as you're only doing 500 points, I'm with the captain.
