Looking at the Galadhrim...a captain has an elven blade, but can exchange it for a bow. But a bow-armed Galadhrim captain still has a hand weapon, right?

Same with a warrior who can exchange his elf blade for an elf bow (for 1 point)?

On a slightly different note, anyone else irritated that a Galadhrim captain can't take a shield?

That is correct, but what is bad - no horse option for the captain! ie no command for you knights!

Yeah, I noticed that too. That's either an oversight, or a poor attempt at game balance.

I'm guessing it's just another GW mess-up.

It's not a mess and its all your fault

Many moons ago we used to get profiles without the model counterpart, people used to complain and pester for these models, so they made the decision to only give profiles for models they intended to make. I tried to convince them otherwise during playtesting of Khazadum (no captain to lead Rangers) but it fell on death ears - I assume this policy is still in place.

I guess that makes sense, but you'd think a Galadhrim captain foot and mounted blister would sell pretty well.

I think there should be an option to make a Galadhrim commander in the GK set simply. The customization in the MK and the KoDA is great.
