Im from the United States and lives in Georgia.

i got in the game i think in 2004 but never really got in to to much, i started looking back in it and its started to catch my eye again. Ive been collecting Minas Tirith Sets because i want a make a force of them They've always been my favorite, once i get a good sized army of them ill move to Uruk-hai. Now the question is when i get the rule book are all the stats in there or is supplements for that, I have no idea what im so post to get.

Well, a lot has changed since 2004, so I suppose the first question would be, do you want to play SBG (Strategy Battle Game), or WotR (War of the Ring)? SBG is the old version of the game, and is the one you would have played in 2004. Unfortunately, the SBG profiles are scattered all over the place, but most of the characters you'll need will be in the main rule book. I don't think either Isengard or Gondor have too much which won't be in the main book, so you may not need any other supplements for now. There is a special supplement for Gondor, but I have never seen it myself, so don't know whether it is worth its price.

Edit: Forgot to mention, WotR is the newer system, which focuses on larger battles. I have never played it myself, but I'm sure someone else could offer some assistance there.

Welcome to the One-Ring, the greatest gaming site of our times!

Firstly......

Be sure to pick up a copy of the One-Ring survivor handbook, for just six payments of $99.99! It'll prove useless in the future!

Look both ways before you cross the thread.

Keep a dull (sharp?) eye out for Dorthonions, blue squirrels and sarcastic wolves! Also the odd balrog shows up, but he doesn't do more than burn the odd passerby usually.

Keep in mind that the site is not REALLY moderated by a team of undead spirits.

And, most importantly of all, to be officially accepted to OR, go to the chatbox in the left side of the screen and type B @ Z O O K A (Remove the spaces and use A instead of @.

Well, that's about it. Welcome, and ignore everything I say! Except the B @ Z O O K A part, you really do have to do it!

Now that I think of it, I started in 2004 as well. It was a good time, right when SBG was in its prime.

Hence all the '04 players here.
Given that I remember playing in the The War of the Ring summer campaign, and had quite a few models by then, I must have been playing since 2004 as well.

Yeah, I'd say so, given that my local hobby store hasn't really stocked LotR since 2004. All they have are some wargs, KoMT, and rolled-up paper ents... maybe one other set...
