No offense mate, but this is likely to start arguments. One guy will say "Gondor sucks" and another will get [word deleted] off because that's his favorite army.

I agree with Anduril here. Some people do take genuine offence if their army is dissed.

This may, cause arguments, and your defination does not define whether you means worst in gaming terms, appearance or whatever.

I voted Rohan, simply because it is hard to play with and against some of the newer releases, even their elites like RRG are hideously underpowered, not to mention the Expert Rider rule does not do justice to what are the best cavalry in middle-earth.

Shire are definately not the worst in gaming terms because of sheer numbers, although you have to pay alot to get a large army.

I voted for men of numenor because well, they only have 1 type of troop and yeah. I just think there armys would be boring lol.

i also voted for them for the same reason, the only thing good about them is elendil

and the shire is the lest compedative (cause the model limit makes it really hard cause they cant get the numbers they need (most of the time)), but are the most fun to play/have

how is rohan not good, it is cheap units and tough cavalrey

Not compared to all Morgul Knights, Dol Amroth Knights, Easterling Kataphracts or Knights or Minas Tirith they aren't. More like light cavalry, but the problem with Rohan is that most of their units are light units, and what is heavy just isn't heavy enough.

And the cheap units are indeed cheap, but are still overpriced, where you can get a Haradrim for 1 points less and stats are the same except the Haradrim has a good special rule.

RRG are only just equal to Uruks, and they were the best they had until Sons of Eorl. Rohan are also incredibly unforgiving for a beginner and require some good tactics to get a clear victory.

I have a huge Rohan army and I think many people will agree Rohan is very underpowered..

ye,but they are good, fast, models with average armour and fight 3. but for 13 points they can be very resorsfull

I don't play, but I dont like the look of the rohan models. IMHO all the other armies look better than rohan. Please dont take offense to that, its just my opinion.

Actually the most Boring army would be pure Dead Army of Dunharrow

as you can only have

A King of the Dead /the only hero/
A banner bearer /only obviously/

Some Riders of the Dead and some Dead Warriors, which are basically the same, (cause they don´t get cavalry bonuses) except that Riders move faster and are with bigger bases and regular troops.

I think that with Allies of Three hunters and Dunadein, this army is cool, but alone it is very boring

P.S i voted for Numenor, cause the lack any cool and special troops models....

Even Arnor has some....

And Shire is a very interesting army to play with :rofl:

Also you didn´t Mentio Sharkey´s Ruffians... :rofl:

i was thinking of puting sharkeys ruffions but everyone would vote 4 them because there useless
i agree hobbits are fun to play with and fun to paint. they are great for small friendly scirmashs :-D

Although Ruffians on thier own aren't that great, the "Sharkey's Rogues" army list in LoME isn't that bad.

The Good : You get Orc Warrios who can be used in combat by overwelming the enemy, Ruffians for shooting as they are better than Orcs with a shoot value of 4+ and normal bows, and Wild Wargs who can zoom across the battlefield sorrounding the enemy or taking out archers or other isolated groups. All of the models in the list are cheap enough so you can easily outnumber the enemy.

Sharkey can take out enemy heroes with Immobilise and Wild Man Chieftains can add some might to the force for heroic moves. The Wild Wargs will just have to manage on thier own though if ahead of the main force.

The Bad: The main weakness is that the list can't ally. Worm is pretty much terrible, and Wild Men... well you might as well have an Orc with a two-handed axe.

Every list has weaknesses though :roll:
