In 40 days I will be returning home after a 5 and a half month student exchange in Japan, and the first thing I will do when i get back is paint my Khandish chariot. However, I am having some trouble deciding what colour scheme I should use for my Khand. I have been contemplating a number of different options, but I just can't decide what is best. So, I have decided to turn to the One Ring community to ask for advice as to how these models would best be painted.

My biggest concern is the colour of the leather. Red would be best for it, but that won't work with many colour schemes. I'm not sure what other colours will work for the leather though. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have also put up a poll, which will run for 40 days. When I get back I will make my own WIP thread for this model, so please vote for whatever colour scheme you would like to see when I start.

I went with GW's style and am please with my results.

I did red cloaks and brown armor with gold highlights (nails on the helmets etc.)

I combine my Khand with the Easterlings.

Do you have pictures anywhere? I would really like to see how that armour turned out.
